You know, this place isn't so bad once you get past the no-electricity-and-no-running-water thing. And the people here are nice, too~

The only downside is not being able to fend for myself. I tested it, and none of the pins I have work and I can't use my psychokinesis to control Mr. Mew. And it's really annoying to see one of those frog Noise and not be able to fight it. I always told Neku to just run if it looked tough, but damnit, those things are small fry compared to other Noise I've faced! It's actually almost boring, not being able to fight.

So I have to wait awhile before I can use that stuff again, right?

Noise are monsters that exist in the UG that the Players have to fight, sometimes just to get stronger and sometimes so the Reapers'll clear a wall that they set up to keep us from moving past that area.

People who die get taken from from the Realground to the Underground to play the game, and the Reapers control it. The game lasts seven days, and if you end up dying... you get erased. Permanently.

Yeah, they're these monsters that look like animals, but we have to fight them in the Game. They're only in the UG, though, so everyone in the RG is safe from them.

Maybe you should try using a weapon like normal? I'm waiting for my abilities too but I have been using just my fists and my quarter staff to fend for myself. I won't let myself be helpless just because I don't have my powers.

Hey, I'm just an average high school girl. Upper body strength is something I definitely don't have. Hell, no one that plays the Reapers' Game has any, unless you're one of the actual Reapers, I guess.

Yeah, the Reapers host it. The players are forced to play through and survive seven days of fighting Noise, and whoever wins gets a second chance at life.

Yeah, but I guess in a way they make it somewhat fun, but it's nerve-wracking too. They give us missions to complete each day, and a time limit. If someone and their partner don't complete the mission on time, they'd better hope someone else can, or they'll be erased and won't get to go back to the RG at all.

I hope I never get stuck in a situation like that...better to end up here when you're dead rather than be forced to play something where it's either you live again or your soul gets erased.
